Violence across the globe is
striking out with a vengeance
as weary followers of a supposed ‘good’
listen and recoil in shame over
the lies that people tell each other.
Just as violent they say…..
Is the man with a gun,
or a knife.
Their violence claim the followers,
is at least more honest,
more blatant,
less cruel.

Did I mention that I also like my 'alone' time? I am pretty reclusive at times. It's mostly so I can have time to build my relationship with my Jesus. Psssssssssst.....He can be your Jesus too! :)

When I wrote this piece, I was thinking about how lies have a longer more 'violent' effect than those people who used guns. Lies have a tendency to leave a lasting mark that is difficult at best to try and get around. A bullet might be preferred by some. It is 'less cruel'.
