"Sacred", speaks the heart of Jesus
to the one he loves.
Speak Lord,
that I might hear.
A word
a touch
an insight into your heart.
Give me your heart
that I might be
able to represent you truly.
No more lies.
No hiding...
no holding back.
Touch me until
I am touched
completely….
That I know in my heart
that I am loved….
Loved, loved, loved and loved!
That nothing can separate us
from your love….
Let me be like you Lord.
To be like you is the desire of my heart.
Forgiving, compassionate,
forward, truthful and graceful….
Plant in me the ability to receive your love
Challenge my heart to open it to you….
Let there not be one hiding spot
where sin might hide.

Prophecies
Prophecies, words…spoken and written sure,
foretold future paths…yet old and ancient
as the Voice that first spoke them…
hearkened them into being.
Don’t forget!
Don’t forget what the garden path whispers…
and what each stone says.
They speak of greater things yet to come….
happy days…well lit nights.
Singing a joy only angels have heard
lest you listen closer still,
close the gate and wait.
The wind will bring it.

TRUST
Today...
I walked the beach.
Houses that were beautiful
to my right,
the ocean to my left.
I thought to myself
how nice it would be
if I had a house I could live in...
As I observed them in their majesty.
I looked back at the sea
and it seemed to say to me...
How nice is the home you do live in.
Vast..
Unconfined...
Freedom...
a mansion…
Rich...perfumed.
Many, many rooms.
Cry if you need.
Sleep if you must.
Eat if you are hungry.
Bathe.
Trust.

For Jonathan
Beloved Jonathan
……son of my heart. What am I to say of you?
What has become of you
that your spirit dwells now with your Maker?
Dwell on little brother—flesh of my flesh.
Greet me in the morning that I wake
for it shall come sooner than we both would think.
A twinkling of an eye—a great quake—the great day is upon us,
and at least—you are safe.
Greet those that would arrive before me…
for I shall be late in coming.
Perhaps one more will be convinced
and will see what you already see.

The Sound of God's Approach
The sound of God’s approach is near…
So near in fact the world decides
that she will tremble—
the walls will crumble.
The thought a person hears will
stand still—because
of the nearness of the One
who speaks life to the Universe
and sets time in motion.
Without His approach
all would fail.
All would fall into a deep
and terrible darkness.
Instead, the quiet footsteps
of the One my heart loves,
the Light of One who shines on
my being;
sparkles my soul—
and my thoughts
stand perfectly
still.

During the Provocation
Today,
while it is today…
Harden not your hearts
as it was hardened
during the provocation—
when we were separate
in our spirits
from our Father.
Today I watched as strawberries grew—
before my eyes they multiplied—
from one to many—
and I tasted the tartness of Sheep Sorrel—
and it fed me.
I see now a circle in amongst many—
primitive as in the beginning—
Many being One—
And I hear a song—
Saying "for the good of all"
For the Spirit of One—
do not let the vision stop.
I am neither hot nor cold—
nor warm….but gone.
Lifted by my spirit—
which is one with One.
Dance dancer. Cover the earth—
All will hear the beat—
see the circle—sing—believe.
I feel neither cold nor heat—
I am not hungry nor do I lack sleep.
I lack nothing—no physical need.
I see with eyes blinded—
yet I see.
I feel with heart that does not beat—
my body is dead......
but what keeps it alive
is the Spirit inside.

Stranger to The Promise
Before you,
I was a stranger
to the covenant of promise
having no hope and without God
in the world (my world).
I could not share communion
with righteousness
because it was far from me.
At every turn there was
only darkness to be found.
Until you…..who are Light,
dispelled the darkness in me
and shouted out healing to my very soul.
Victory is yours!
Victory is mine…because of you.
I cannot boast of any good thing...
but that which your eyes saw in me,
made in me,
spoke into me….your life.

My Heart Hears!
I listened as you spoke,
to the congregation upon the mount.
My heart cried out in gladness
as you blessed those hearts with
a seed so carefully planted.
...And I heard you teach that day saying,
blessed are all of those who would take heed
and learn to love perfectly as you love.
Though their hearts may be forsaken and torn by this world.
There were many blessings brought to every generation
And established by your spoken Word.
Your Love, and every part of the creation you are
spoke of every good and wonderful being that you are.
I cried as I realized all the Love that you are.
I heard as you spoke the depth of your own heart's desire.
It spoke of all that are by your hand made alive
and set within their spirits sure, a divine spirit
made to every likeness of your very own image.
I marveled at the Grace of every word you spoke...
and blessed all those who were pure in heart.
For you surely said they would see God,
and clearly established their inheritance of earth.
It pleased me and healed me to sit as I listened.
Knowing full well I drank from the river
of your infinite Love unending.
...And I found myself at peace, sitting there at your feet.
I listened as you taught our hearts to pray.
That your will would be established and finished
upon this earth as it is already within heaven by your spirit.
I chose within myself that very hour--your Love.
...And I, would not turn away again, ever.
Never willingly turning back to any sin.
Though I might be deceived until you were clearly revealed,
I would remain forgiven.
I pondered the great act of your Mercy, as Love poured out
the very depth of your consuming spirit.
And I was amazed that day at the change within my spirit.
Knowing that I was really loved within.
You never once condemned me for my sin.
I praised your name within my heart that day.
And since that day was borne within my soul
I had wondered how it was that you could Love so deeply.
And contemplated why even you would chose to love, even me.
And then I knew. You desired that the congregation
would Love, perfectly the ALL of you.
And seeing you there I found myself mesmerized
and unable to move at all.
I desired you there, and vowed within my heart,
that you, my ever-loving God, would receive,
My love,
Me.

A Child of Truth
When you have the Truth
living inside of you
it does many things.
The Truth will call you to challenge
it will call you to knowledge
and the wise ask for the understanding of it.
When you have Truth living in you
it challenges you to always
be the best you can be;
To accept differences yes,
but to never compromise.
The Truth in itself
is a two edged sword to be borne
alone.
Until
the day comes
when the Truth living inside of you
does not scare another.
I have found that having the
Truth living in me
has caused people to turn
their faces in fear.
They fear the wielding
of that sword.
Too many times has it been
used with unrighteousness
thus causing it to become a lie.
The Truth is searing
sometimes causing pain,
but it is always healing.
It is healing because it is given in Love.
That is another of Truth’s names.
Love. Righteousness. Everlasting.
Eternal.

This Beautiful Morn
This is a beautiful morning Lord,
carried by your very breath...
sometimes I sit and wonder
how it is you have made me
to love you so.
It was your gentle touch,
your soft voice.
Always pleading and
always there.
Saying good morning
no matter where I might be.
And today, I love you more
than I did yesterday.
How it is that your love works within me
is a mystery to me.
How it is that it grows
leaves me wondering.
And I think to myself
how blessed I really am.
How grateful I am to share
this morning with you.
You who loves me,
lover of my soul.
That you would come for me
is still a mystery to me.
I will not ask why.
I know why.
Although I’ve yet to understand
the very depth, breadth or height.
I will know someday,
how it is you have saved me
and why.
Although why isn’t as important
as the fact that you did.
You made me to love you
and I simply do.
You made me to worship you
and I seek to worship you
in all things I do.
You made me to hear your voice...
and that too is a mystery.
How it is I hear that softness that you are.
How it is I can hear at all...
And you soothe my soul
when it is in turmoil.
Your hand upon me brings me peace
in a way I have never known before...
And I love you there.
When I have not one care
except for you.
Thank you, that you gave me your life.
Praise your name forever
because of that life.
Thank you, that you made me white as snow.
When I see what I wear,
I see your bloodstains everywhere...
and I am grateful that you gave
ALL that you are.
You amaze me
in so many ways.
You giving your life for me
setting me free from the bondage of myself.
A place I had chosen to be...
and would still have chosen
had it not been for your great love for me.
You had a key…
and they tell me the only key I need is willingness.
So be it.
I will be willing to hear your voice…
and I will be willing to follow your instruction.
I will be willing to give to you
all that I am.
Lover of my soul
thankful I am.
That this morning we celebrate
a new life.
Away with the old!
You are the one who keeps my soul!
So keep it this day please.
Make me a willing participant
in all that you have given me.

From the time I was knit
together in my mother’s womb…
I have eternity.
From the time I was born….
I have eternity.
I shall not taste death
but be taken only
by the hand of Him
who loves my soul.
I call His name Eternity.
Emanuel, Jesus.
From the moment
I first understood,
with wild abandon I
played with the otters…
I spoke with the squirrels…
and I looked at
my parents and knew
I was on loan to them…
For I knew always
in my heart,
I belong to Him.
I have Eternity.

I AM RISEN
This beautiful morning
etched upon the horizon...
within the moment of your first waking breath…
I can see you there
and my spirit is rejoicing at the crispness
in the air.
I shiver and I smile
from the warmth of the caress
I felt you give me there.
For the dawning of this day
is here… and we agree.
And not one in all of creation will fail
to see
every flower blooming nor the fragrance
within your beauty.
It is spring and winter.
And the cold has given way now to the sun.
The frost and the dew upon the grass
are there to nurture
that which is not seen with eyes.
Intricate and alive
every pulsating heartbeat awaits
and greets
the dawning of this new day.
As you,
who would give to all creation
your loving breath of life,
let every spirit awaken in wonder
and rejoice at your heart filled with your desire.
Let the children dance
and let laughter be every word
within each new tune
that every bird chirps.
Saying that the rains have passed
and once again eternal spring has sprung.
Every creature in the heavens and earth
Are.
I have seen it etched upon the horizon.
Today
a new day dawning
and never setting.
This beautiful morning
awakened now.. My spirit shivers
and I smile…
for the fragrance of your beauty
surrounds me.
And I,
am suddenly...
Free.

My Life Story
I think if ever I told my life story
it would be volumes not journal pages.
Sometimes I have felt like the journey has been like a
mountain climber on a rock face.
Sometimes I sit frozen on the face of the mountain;
too scared to look down; too frightened to let go
and too exhausted to move on.
Run the race…fight the fight plays
like some broken recording in my mind.
I have never given up the ground I have gained…
I prefer instead to lie frozen still until I have
regained my breath…and I don’t feel sorry.
Not for myself and not for them.
I feel called to the crest….a higher calling….
A guiding….teaching by example at best.
But I, I will win.

Salvation:
Salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name, by which one can be saved. Many have tried to use the ploy of, I am good. I do good works. But then they miss the point altogether. The point is grace.
Grace:
Grace is a free gift of God. You cannot earn it, you can only accept it. It is freedom. It is God’s will for our lives. We so many times think we have to give something in return for the great gift of grace given to us. The gift in return is acceptance.
Acceptance:
Simply put, acceptance is just that. A place in your heart where you let go and let the Savior love you. Why is it so hard to allow someone to just love us without it being uncomfortable or something we feel like we have to return? When we fully have accepted that Jesus loves us, then we realize that we can be even our nastiest selves and that love remains. He may not like it, but He still loves and because of that kindness so simply put, this leads us to repentance.
Repentance:
Repentance is a total turning away from one’s old self. It is not a total life turn-around (360*), but a decision to stop and look at your life, and then walk the other direction away from the things that you normally have done, and the insanity you have practiced before. It is a new life, and God’s son has guarded you until this decision could be made fully. Jesus wants your life resurrected.
Resurrection:
A new life. Resurrection is a new life not only in the spirit now, but also in body. Some day, Jesus will return to give us a new life with him. Christians believe this, because Jesus spoke it to the disciples after He was resurrected and had ascended to the Father. It was a glorious and wondrous time for the disciples, and for all those who knew Jesus, those who watched him hang on the cross and die, and watched Him as He lived again in the flesh. He had conquered death, and actually gave people reason to ‘run towards’ the end of their lives and death, and to not be afraid. There is a coming glory Jesus wants all men to see.
Glory:
This is a place of totality. It is a place of complete. It is a place where you will see clearly instead of through a glass darkly. Jesus asks us through the disciple Paul in 1Corinthians to “put away childish things”, to grow up enough and be mature enough to accept this wondrous gift given us of Jesus. Jesus in His glory. What does that mean? Will he look human? Will He still be Jewish? Will he be happy, joyous, free? These are the things we look forward to, or hope for.
Hope:
Hope is something we have without seeing for sure. I was not alive when Jesus came to the earth, died, and rose again. But through the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit, I believe. I have hope. I will see Jesus in His timing, not my own. In the meantime, while I am waiting, He asks that I be an extension of the Love that He came to bear. I am that extension. I am doing my best, albeit ever so imperfectly, to love the way that Jesus loved. That means that I am accepting of where a person is at, without judgment, without a desire to see a person fall. I am looking towards the divine in that person. I am seeing what God sees in them, and He is excited about all of His creation.
Divine:
The perfected self through Jesus. This is something to look forward to (because I am not there yet). What will I look like? How old will I be? Where will I be living my eternity? What will things look like in a divine nature? There are so many questions without seemingly solid answers. The only thing that is solid is that I know that Jesus will be there. Everything else doesn’t really matter after all. We don’t know if we will have a house in the divine nature. Scripture only says that in "In my Father’s house there are many mansions”, but it doesn’t give a description of what a mansion looks like. 'Mansions' could be another way of describing our divine spirit. God is the house in which our spirits dwell. Nothing then, has a solid description but Jesus. So although divine, (since I am not there yet), I will go with what I know.
Jesus: It’s all about Jesus. Jesus in salvation. Jesus’ gift of grace. The acceptance of Jesus. Repentance for Jesus. Resurrection because of Jesus. Glory of Jesus. Hope in Jesus. Divine Jesus. My Jesus.

PIERCE MY HEART FOREVER LORD
I speak only of Life.
And you say your eyes only perceive death.
With whose eyes
does a blind man perceive?
Only Love can perceive.
Only Love can give,
the One breath that causes Life.
I speak only of Life.
That Life shall,
Pierce my heart forever Lord,
lest I should forget.
By whose eyes
this blind woman perceives,
and by whose Spirit
this woman is wrought from within.

DO NOT HURT THE EARTH
Look upon the dew and grass
the dragonfly as it wrestles from
its birth....and grows into a warrior.
Each spot…each stripe...an honor given him
to rule the field.
And the butterfly...how she weeps
hanging there drying her wings.
To show the gentleness that our Lord brings...
a mistress of the field.
And near the Water do they flock
to drink of all that is living.
A congregation that we should mock...
there they are ALL in their beauty.
And the moth as it flies deep in the night
seeking only the darkness and the damp.
Till yonder does it see the light
and knows it can't pass this chance.
And there will fly in a blind man's faith
though to its death it fall.
Singing with its fluttering wings
of the glory of its God.
And we as humans try to make
a place to ourselves within.
Still we practice all this hate...
and a warrior of the field
shall rule before we yield...?
All of Love's glory is to be found
in field and meadows far.
In mountains....in streams
Love's creation rings
better kings by far.
And we as humans seek to destroy
the beauty of this land.
Out of jealousy of the moth's pure faith
and the dragonflies warrior brands.
And we in our pride war and fight
over who is mightier by far...
and I say let go your pride
before we've gone too far.
Don't hurt the earth, don't hurt the earth
nourish her in Love.
Take the butterfly to your breast in field
and congregate, give her birth...
and in our hearts DO yield.
Let the mountains stand on high
let every tree alone.
Let every creature upon this earth
keep her as their home.
Before the warrior dragonfly
rules before we yield.
Give up your pride, set hate aside...
and let us all be healed.
